I LOVE COLOR! The best thing in the world of fashion to aid in my love of color is Colorblocking. I'm a MASTER Color-blocka LMBO! This outfit was simple and easy. Very easy to transition from work to play with the added denim vest. This pencil skirt shows all my hard legwork in the gym - those thighs and legs are looking GOOD! My Havana Twist updo added a little more fun to the outfit!

Work clothes should be far from BORING! Being fashion-forward is the goal while keeping it classy and professional. The whimisical floral design of my pants gave this outfit that extra pop! Not only were they cute but larger in the waist and tighter in the Gluteus maximus (Thanks squat challenge LMBO!) My new Stella and Dot necklace was staring me in the face this morning, so I had to incorporate it. This shirt was a great canvas (Scored at JCP for only $4) for the necklace that was the perfect compliment to this fun outfit!

Shirt Dress: The Limited Shoes: Jessica Simpson Last saturday I was privileged to host a jewelry party at my home for my friend Shanae'. Shanae' a new stylist with the accessory company Stella & Dot. This was her first party and she came prepared to show beautiful pieces while explaining how Stella & Dot could accent your wardrobe. I just love jewelry parties because you're able to touch the pieces and try them on. The beautifully made, fashionable jewelry was a sight to see and Shanae did a great job giving us the royal treatment! The gathering went from a jewelry party, to a natural curly girl convention (all the attendee were NATURALISTAS), to a empowering ladies entrepreneur brainstorming session. We even had my friend Mary in the building with Mary Kary samples and information.
It's not to late to place a order. My show is open until June 20th. You can shop using this link http://www.stelladot.com/ts/63pp5 It's that time! Spring is here and kids are getting ready for the Easter fashion shows. My God Mom's Eastern Star group held a Easter fashion show fundraiser. When she asked did I know a little kid to sign up, the first person to come to mind was my lil "friend" Princess Aarlynn. My sis in law let me style and train Aarlynn for the show and we were in it to win it! The experience was so much fun and all the little kids were cute. Aarlynn pulled through and won the crown....YAY!!!!!
Monica Open Toe Heel This Spring and Summer I'm determined to step out of my box a little bit more. My goal is to always add a pop of color to my outfit and not be so matchy-matchy.

Over the weekend I decided to take my workout to the streets. I figured why not window shop while I get my walk on! I've had a DSW gift card since June and decided it was finally time to go take a look. Well after looking through all the shoes (regular and clearance), as I proceed to walk out the door I spotted these mint colored heels by Mix No 6 Briel in Mint. Mint is definitely the color for spring, so of course I had to add these to my closet.......Getting ready for spring a little early!
The cute 2 3/4 inch heel, patent leather, and round metallic silver cap toe.......I'm ready to ROCK these now! They are ultra feminine and I can see them with a flowing flower dress in the spring. Spring ready, Foxxy Everyone has a piece in their closet that you love to wear, but sometimes you're not in the mood to get all dolled up. Well here's a perfect solution - Always know that you can take that special piece and dress it up or down. I LOVE this shirt and when I purchased it I knew that I would dress it up.....add some heels. BUT one day I wanted to wear it, tamed a bit with skinny jeans and boots. With different hair and accessories I made both outfits cute and they match how I felt on both days.
Do you like? What's your favorite piece to dress up or down? Source: www.nadiaaboulhosn.com Scouring the web over the weekend I found a great article featured on MSN Living. The article was a feature of beautiful plus size models to watch in 2013. They featured one of my favs Nadia Aboulhosn (pictured) of www.nadiaaboulhosn.com. Being a plus size fashionista, I was eladed to see the love shown to real women with curves. Not everyone will be or are meant to be size 4. These ladies serve up great fashion in a curvy way; Definitely women to watch!
